1. I guarentee your views will change once you go to college. When I was in high school I thought girls were sluts if they sleep around. Hell, I felt like a slut for having sex with four people. But I look at my other girlfriends and they've slept with 10 to 20 different guys, and that's not even that bad. You'd be amazed at how many different partners people have when they're in college.
2. I disagree with that. I've spent a year at college and I'm still a virgin. I seriously don't see what the big deal about sex is! There are deeper things to life than base, crude physical pleasures. Half of my friends are still virgins (and yes, I'm even taking my male friends into account). All of my very closest friends are still virgins. College hasn't changed that!

The majority of teens ages 12 to 17 say they believe in abstinence. However, before age 18, at least 73% of American boys and 56% of American girls have had intercourse. Fewer than 20% remain virgins throughout their teenage years.
The number of teenagers who say they have had sex before age I 16 is going up. In 1990, some 44% of teens said they had sex by age 16. By 1994, that percentage had risen to 53%.

По поводу социального давления - понятно, хотя в анонимном опросе оно небольшое. Но в любом случае, ясно, что процитированная выше девушка врать не стала. То есть даже если и привирали, то хотя бы отражает взгляды.
